ReplyDeleteIf Leigh-Ann reads the comments, I've made a $20 donation, which is $5 for the book (item #11) and shipping costs. Whatever is left over just goes to Wee-Paws, of course. There was no way to leave a note with the PayPay donation (which is not usual--normally you can), and the Wee-Paws contact page doesn't have an actual email, has something odd that wasn't coming up properly. I kept telling it to use Gmail to launch, but it kept trying to download into my documents folder. So apparently no good way to contact the organization.

I wrote to ML yesterday asking her to communicate with me with the email address weepawsdotorg AT gmail DOT com... my install of Outlook isn't working because of a bad extension, and I'm left using gmail. If you're trying to reach me, please use that addy. I've got everything ready to ship!

ReplyDeleteI've contacted everyone who won an item I donated (3, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5, 6a-d, 7, 8). I think I've heard back from all the winners and I'm just calculating postage prior to final invoicing. If a person won multiple items from different donors I only sent a query about the item I'm shipping (i.e. Yvonne won a scarf from KC and a fountain from me, but I'm only invoicing for the fountain and its shipping fee, not for the scarf or shipping costs related to it).

There just has to be a better way to run one of these charity auctions. I was interested in many items; however, I did not bid because I couldn't tell who bid, what the highest bid was, etc.
